UAE-UK Business Council supports fundraising efforts for Al Jalila Foundation

Jonathan Emery, CEO of Aldar Development, is embarking on an epic endurance cycling challenge to raise funds for the Al Jalila Foundation and its mission to advance cancer treatment, care and research in the UAE.

From 1 July 2026, Jonathan will join a team of 15 riders from the UAE as they embark on a 25-day charitable endurance cycling challenge from Barcelona to Paris, in support of Cycling Against Cancer in aid of the Al Jalila Foundation and its mission to advance cancer treatment, care and research.

Spanning 3,333 kilometres and over 54,000 metres of elevation, the journey takes the team through Spain and France, bringing together a group of respected industry leaders and passionate cyclists for an extraordinary challenge.

This challenge represents determination, resilience and a shared commitment to giving back to the community. Every mile ridden helps raise awareness and support for a cause that touches countless lives across the region and beyond.
