University of Birmingham Dubai

The University of Birmingham has been challenging and developing great minds for more than a century. Having taken the strategic decision to base our first overseas campus in the UAE, the University’s Dubai campus opened to students in September 2018.

We are dedicated to growing and developing a broad range of disciplines and within them offering our high quality education and our world class research capability led by academics who are experts in their field.

We already offer a comprehensive range of fully accredited undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, including computer science and artificial intelligence, business, economics, and finance and engineering along with teacher education. Our students benefit from the academic rigor of a global top 100 university and are highly sought after by employers worldwide, graduating with an internationally recognised and respected degree into an alumni community of over 300,000 graduates.

Established by Queen Victoria in 1900, the University of Birmingham was the UK’s first ‘redbrick’ university and is a member of the elite Russell Group of UK universities, which includes Oxford and Cambridge. Characterised by a tradition of innovation and pushing forward the boundaries of knowledge, we are proud of the work we do to change the world. We bring all of this heritage, prestige, and global renown to our Dubai campus in the UAE.
