UAE-UK Collaboration in Wellbeing and Longevity
After a series of consultations with our stakeholders, our campaign on UK-UAE Collaboration in Wellbeing and Longevity will focus on three thematic areas:
Insurance and Regulation – this theme will focus on data-informed insurance and regulatory models that incentivise prevention, early intervention, and healthy longevity. It also includes knowledge sharing on outcomes-based insurance, wellbeing-linked premiums, and regulatory frameworks for the ethical use of health and wellbeing data while balancing innovation with consumer protection. Aligning standards for data governance, risk assessment, and longevity metrics would also enable scalable cross-border innovation between both countries.
Employers and Healthcare Providers – this theme will focus on how employers and healthcare providers in both countries, and how they are increasingly central to improving population wellbeing and extending healthspan. UK–UAE collaboration opportunities could support the development of employer-led wellbeing models that integrate occupational health, primary care, and mental health support. Opportunities for knowledge sharing also lie in measuring the return on investment in wellbeing, through productivity, retention, and long-term health outcomes.
Longevity and Healthspan – The role of Data & Technology – this theme explores knowledge sharing on how technology can be an enabler for extending healthspan through data-driven prevention and precision care. It also explores UK-UAE collaboration on the use of AI, digital health platforms, wearables, and the use of predictive analytics to identify health risks earlier, tailor interventions, and support healthier ageing. Enhanced collaboration on interoperability, data standards, and responsible AI use would accelerate innovation while ensuring trust, inclusion, and equitable access to longevity-enhancing technologies.
