2021 marks 60 years since Jersey’s modern financial services industry put down roots and began its journey towards becoming the award-winning international finance centre it is today.

The UAE-UK Business Council joined the Department for International Trade in hosting a webinar on STEM for Energy. We had a great line-up of speakers including representatives from Masdar, BP, Heriot-Watt University, EVERFI, Khalifa University and Sciencescope Ltd.

The UAE-UK Business Council partnered with New York University Abu Dhabi, The Oxford Commission on Constitutions and the Oxford Cyber Academy Centre on a major programme of events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the UAE.

The UAE-UK Business Council hosted its second event of the year on March 18th where our panellists held a Round Table on the very thought provoking and important topic on TVET in the UK and the UAE.

The UAE – UK Business Council hosted its first event of the year on January 28th where we brought together a high-level panel of speakers to discuss new opportunities for collaboration between the UAE and the UK in the Infrastructure Sector.
