UK-UAE Day at The Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit, Dubai

---

25 November 2021

We were delighted to host the UK-UAE Day at this year’s Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit at the Dubai Exhibition Centre on 25 November 2021.

The theme of the Day was The UK and the UAE: Working Together To Decarbonise Industry - The Journey to Net Zero 2050, and focussed specifically on the potential for greater collaboration between companies in both markets in the advanced manufacturing, aerospace and construction and infrastructure sectors.

The event was opened by our two Co-Chairs, HE Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh and Lord Udny-Lister, and Simon Penney, the UK’s Consul General to Dubai and Trade Commissioner to the Middle East. We had an excellent line up of senior business leaders and experts from the UK and the UAE taking part in our panel discussions throughout the day. Thank you to all those who attended in person or tuned in online.

Full-length videos of each session are below and an executive summary can be found here.
