Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ) visited the UK in June. As part of their programme, we organised a special round table and briefing session on cybersecurity opportunities in the United Arab Emirates.
The event was attended by 14 UK cybersecurity firms who are looking to establish operations in the Gulf region. Khalid Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of Mission at the UAE Embassy, briefed attendees on the UAE’s approach to cybersecurity and DAFZ explained the options for setting up in a free zone. This was followed by a lively and informative discussion between all the participants.
