Webinar on UK-UAE Collaboration in Skills: Industry Perspectives

7 May 2025

The industrial sectors of the UK and the UAE are undergoing a profound transformation, driven by technological change, innovation and decarbonisation.

This webinar will examine how to address the need to future-proof the workforce in both countries by attracting, recruiting, upskilling and retaining talented professionals in technical and vocational careers, and how the UK and the UAE can collaborate to overcome the associated challenges. The panel of experts will share examples of best practice from their respective organisations and discuss how academia, government and industry need to work together to ensure future skills requirements are met. The webinar will also cover the barriers – regulatory, societal and educational - that might prevent future skills requirements being met, and how to bridge the gap between qualification attainment and moving into the workforce.

The webinar will be broadcast live and is free to watch on our You Tube channel - no registration is required. To view the webinar click here.

Please feel free to share the invitation to these webinars with your colleagues and external stakeholders.
